for Environment and Socio-Responsive Engineering
The
Centre is engaged in creating awareness
about environmental issues among the Engineering
students. It is presently engaged in two
projects, one dealing with the Water Sanitation-Solid
Waste Management of a low income locality
in Hyderabad and the other with Design
of Natural Home. Several students belonging
to the Mechanical and Civil Engineering
are working on these projects. International
papers have been published based on the
work being carried out by the Centre.

for Continuous Improvement of Total Quality
in Executive Skills of Students (Cities)
The Centre for Continuous
Improvement of Total Quality in Executive
Skills of Students was established with
the aim to improve personality and communication
skills of the students through interactive
programs and sessions. The Centre conducts
regular weekly programs and workshops
for the benefit of the faculty and students.
Centre for Innovative Construction Materials
and Technologies
This Centre was
established as a joint collaboration between
the Civil Engineering Department and Maxpertise
LLC, an American company specializing
in materials technologies. It aims to
create awareness and popularize environment
friendly building materials and technologies
as a means of sustainable development.
Several simple research projects in the
area of innovative building materials
utilizing flyash and other waste products
are in progress.
